About Laser Electrical Taupo

Our Story

Laser Electrical Taupo was operated by Carr Electrical Services, a firm with over 25 years of experience in the electrical contracting business. When Eric Carr retired, the business was bought out by the Laser Electrical Putaruru franchise and in February 2026 Laser Plumbing Taupo has taken on ownership of the Laser Electrical Taupo team.

As with our existing plumbing business we strive to deliver excellent customer service and maintain the high level of workmanship and a strong team culture. We are proud to be locally owned and operated and bring a strong mix of strengths, knowledge and overall passion to our customers and our team across the Laser Taupo brand. Our customers can rest assured that we are fully qualified registered Master Electricians (Electrical Contractors Association of NZ) specialising in both residential and commercial electrical wiring and installations, we have established ourselves as a leading electrical contractor in the greater Taupo area. We have qualified electricians ready to attend to any electrical problem.
